For New Year's Eve, we're making pearl face harnesses - those deliciously bold pieces that turn your face into living jewellery, with a luscious, seductive hint of kink.
Think flapper meets fetish, geometry meets glamour, art deco meets underground.
Get ready for an evening of community, creativity, and crafting as we prepare to see in 2026 together at Bright Precious Things on 31st December.
What we'll be making:
Pearl face harnesses that cascade across your features - strands that frame your cheekbones, drape over lips, and catch the light every time you turn your head. Whether you want minimal chic or full baroque drama is entirely up to you.
WE PROVIDE:
All materials (pearls in various sizes, chains, clasps, connectors)
Expert guidance on design and assembly
Templates and inspiration
Tools for putting it all together
WHAT TO BRING: Your New Year's energy and any special touches you want to add - vintage brooches, extra pearls, crystals. We love when people raid charity shops and jewellery boxes for unexpected additions.
No experience needed - just come ready to make something that makes you feel like the precious thing you are.
The workshop will be led by the fabulously creative Ines Taylor, Karinne, Andy, Naila and Christian, who have all been instrumental in all our costume workshops.

This workshop is for our next large event for our 10th birthday and New Year’s Eve at Omeara in London Bridge where we’ll be channeling the sensual underground of the Jazz Age.
